Special Exhibition for the 20th Inauguration Anniversary of the Whanki Museum

Celebrating the 20th Inauguration Anniversary of the Whanki Museum, the museum presents a special exhibition entitled This exhibition highlights a new art history based interpretation regarding the fundamental formative units – Dot, Line, and Plane – showing the affinity between Kim Whanki’s works and wooden furniture and Bojagi (wrapping cloths) of Korea’s Joseon Dynasty. By finding the artistic origin of Kim Whanki in the beauty of Korea, the Whanki Museum suggests the complimentary relationship between Korean Tradition and Modern Art.
