Whanki Foundation Artist Exhibition
A Dialogue With, BOO JI HYUN

The Whanki Foundation Artist Exhibition “BOO JI HYUN, A Dialog with” represents an artistic journey of the artist BOO Ji-Hyun, who formerly participated on the Prix Whanki 2008 “The Echo of Blue,” and walks along in the ‘present’ of her ongoing exploration.

In the exhibition, she composes the remnants – disposed fish luring lights and abandoned fishing boat that were ceased in time by being useless, in segmenting and reconstructing the “ended-time.” The abandoned objects in the exhibition space meets the full-presence throughout the artist’s ‘exform’ative consideration and re-creation of ‘time.’ This exhibition would be a meaningful dialog to share the growth and creation of the ‘present’ and to draw the forethoughtful journey together.
